Coaching staff resonsibilities

On the Field

Coaches maintain full authority over all football operations.

Coaches are responsible for:

  • Player development and instruction
  • Practice planning and game strategy
  • Playing time and roster decisions
  • Team rules and discipline
  • Equipment and safety standards
  • Game preparation and competition decisions
  • Communication regarding football performance or athlete evaluation

Parent Volunteer Committee Responsibilities 

Off the Field

Dedicated team of parent volunteers who facilitate the Football program activities off the field. From game day activities to coordinating uniforms, pictures, and behing d the scenes support to ensure Coaches can focus on their teams, Players have an amazing season, and Parents are connected and engaged throughout the year.

  • Fundraising & Program Support

    Parents help provide financial and operational support that enhances the program beyond school or league funding.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Raise funds to support program expenses
    • Coordinate fundraising events and sponsorships
    • Help purchase approved program needs (as identified by coaching staff)
    • Support team meals, senior night, banquets, and recognition events
    • Assist with spirit wear and merchandise programs
    •  Parents support program needs — coaches identify football-related needs.

  • Community Program & Culture

    Parents help create a strong football community for players and families.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Organize football community events
    • Coordinate team bonding and family engagement activities
    • Support game-day atmosphere (volunteers, decorations, hospitality)
    • Help welcome new families into the program
    • Promote positive sportsmanship and program values
  • Off the Field Communications

    Parents help ensure families stay informed about logistics and activities not related to coaching decisions.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Share logistical communications (events, volunteering, meals, fundraising)
    • Coordinate volunteer schedules
    • Manage parent contact lists and reminders
    • Reinforce program announcements approved by coaches

     Parents communicate logistics and support activities, not football strategy or player matters.

  • Coordinate Volunteer Activity

    • Organize parent volunteers for events and program needs
    • Assign roles such as concessions, photography, team meals, and check-in support
    • Reduce administrative burden on coaches
